South Africa’s minister of intelligence has vowed to take action against South Africans fighting in Israel’s armed forces. Responding to a resolution adopted by the United Nations Forum of Civil Society in Support of Middle East Peace held in Cape Town last week, Ronnie Kasrils, who is Jewish, called on delegates to give him “hard information,” about the presence of South Africans in the Israel Defense Forces, according to the Cape Argus newspaper.
