Approximately 800 Russian Jews who have been living in Egypt for some time will soon lean whether they are to be considered Russian or Egyptian nationals.
The Egyptian press reports today that negotiations to settle the status of members of the Russian colony in Egypt will open soon between the Soviet Minister to Egypt and the Egyptian Foreign office. The colony is composed of 800 Jews, 800 members of the Russian Orthodox Church and 200 Moslems.
