The Soviet Government has assigned 100,000,000 rubles for 1937 upbuilding work in Biro-Bidjan, autonomous Jewish territory in Soviet Siberia, it was announced today. The sum compares with a 1936 budget of 50,000,000 rubles.
It was also stated that in the current year, the territory will have to accept 20,000 new settlers and provide normal living conditions for them.
