Soviet Authorities Remove Doctor and Wife from Train Bound for Vienna

Immigrants arriving here this morning from the Soviet Union via Vienna reported that a Georgian Jewish couple were taken off the train at the Soviet-Polish border by Soviet authorities and have not been heard from since the incident occurred last week. Relatives of the couple said that Dr. Mischa and Lili Koziashvilli, were taken off the train at Brest Litovsk after 60 rubles was found in the doctor’s possession. Dr. Koziashvilli was detained on a charge of illegal possession of money. His wife, a chemist, followed her husband and both disappeared. Their whereabouts since then are unknown.
