An official Soviet communique has denied that a Soviet-Nazi agreement for the transfer of 83,000 Jews to Russia in exchange for 150,000 Germans has been concluded. It said that when exchanging populations with Germany, no racial stipulations will be made and that no special agreement existed for the transfer of Galician Jews to Soviet occupied Galicia.
