Mikhail Bodrov, the Soviet Ambassador to Israel, said today he would look into the matter of the refusal of Soviet authorities to allow import of matzoths for Soviet Jews for Passover.
The envoy made the statement in reply to a question under unique circumstances–while he was wearing a skullcap during a two-hour visit to the Heichal Shlomo, the home of Israel’s Chief Rabbinate. He was received by Chief Rabbi Yitzhak Nissim.
