A warning against the growth of anti-Semitism among the working masses in Soviet Russia and the urge that steps be taken to combat this growth were sounded yesterday by the “Pravda,” the official organ of the Soviet government, and the “Emes,” the official organ of the Jewish section of the Communist party in Russia.
The newspapers call attention to the growth of anti-Semitism among the working men and declare that it is “high time to combat it.”
The “Emes,” the Yiddish organ of the Jewish Communists, ridicules what it terms “the super internationalism” of some of the Jewish Communists who are ignoring this glaring fact. “How can we fight Zionism successfully if we do not fight anti-Semitism?” it asks.
