The trial of Andrei Shargorodsky, member of the Executive Committee of the Soviet in Bratzilav, was started in that town yesterday.

Shargorodsky is accused of having used the typical Russian insulting term, “Zhidovzkaya Morda” when speaking to Jews. Other anti-Semitic acts are also charged against him.

It is rumored here that before coming to Bratzilav, Shargorodsky led a pogrom band during the civil war.
