The Soviet government, through the Am-Derutra Corporation in this country has undertaken to guarantee the delivery of matzoth shipped into Soviet Russia for the Passover holidays, at a rate of $4.30 per parcel, consisting of eleven pounds gross weight, nine pounds of which are matzoth.

The price represents a reduction of $5.70 from the $10 price of last year for a matzoth package of similar weight.

This disclosure was made by the B. Manischewitz Company through Max Manischewitz, its treasurer, in a statement to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

The statement declares that the agreement as to price and guaranteed delivery was reached after conversations between Mr. Manischewitz, the president, the vice-president of the Am-Deurtra Corporation, and Leo Broches, Assistant Secretary of the Am-Derutra Corporation.

The terms of agreement will apply to other matzoth companies as well as the Manischewitz Company.
