The State Planning Commission has formulated a plan for development of the Jewish autonomous region of Biro-Bidjan calling for expenditures of about 40,000,000 rubles in new collective farms in 1937, it was announced today.
The funds will be used chiefly for preparing farm buildings and homes and for mechanization of agriculture in ten new collectives. Complete reorganization of the region’s building activities will be undertaken and more adequate building supplies will be furnished.
