The Soviet Union has agreed to purchase 140,000 cases of Israel citrus products at a delivered price of $5.80 per case, it was announced here tonight. The trade agreement was announced by H. Bader and J. Anabi on their return here from Moscow where they negotiated the deal on behalf of the Israel citrus marketing board. They reported that negotiations were continuing for an additional purchase by the Russians of 10,000 tons of citrus fruits and bananas.
The fruit will be delivered to Odessa in Israel vessels. Satisfaction was expressed here at the favorable price.
