The Spanish government today ordered its border officials at Irun to admit the group of 130 Jews from Luxemburg who are en route to overseas countries for which they have succeeded in securing immigration visas.
The group was held at the Spanish frontier station Irun for several days in a train without being admitted into Spain because of their lack of Spanish transit visas. German officials who escorted the train all the way from Luxemburg, as a result of this development transported the group to Biarritz under promise that they would bring the refugees back to the Spanish frontier as soon as the Spanish authorities agreed to admit them.
