Jakob Fromer, German-Jewish writer and recognized authority on Spinoza, was arrested in Paris today for not leaving France after his visa had expired.
Dr. Fromer is a German refugee. He was arrested in Germany in 1914 during the World War for his pacifist propaganda. He is the author of many works on philosophy and translator of the Talmud into German.
