The ship “Exodus” in which Jewish immigrants were forced by the British authorities in Palestine to sail in 1947 back to Germany, and which was to be converted into a floating museum of Jewish immigration, was burned down today. The fire was noticed in the morning on the ### deck, from where it immediately spread to all parts of the ship. The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
