A conference of Jewish Men’s Organizations, representing all Jewish organizations of the city, has been created, with a view to eliminating conflicts in dates of meetings and public gatherings. Twelve of the leading bodies were represented at the first meeting, called by Gilbert Harris, executive director of the Y.M.H.A.
Milton A. Hellman was elected president, F. S. Bach, executive director of the Jewish Federation, Judge A. B. Frey, Col. Edwin B. Meisner and Louis Anfenger, vice-presidents; Gilbert Harris, secretary, and Louis Millstone, treasurer.
