The Eighteenth annual convention of the New York State Federation of Young Men’s Hebrew Associations, Young Women’s Hebrew Associations and Jewish Community Centers will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Jewish Communal Center in Troy. The two-day session will be called to order by Albert Rosenthal, president of the Federation.
Philip R. Goldstein, field secretary of the Jewish Welfare Board, will be the main speaker and there will be addresses and discussions by prominent social workers and lay leaders of the state.
Among the problems to be discussed will be “Membership in the Light of Present Conditions and the Type of Members,” “Present Trends in Physical Education,” and “Junior and Intermediate Activities.”
