The State Department announced today that among the important collections made in the United States since last September for European war relief were: Joint Distribution Committee, Inc., New York, operating in all belligerent countries, $1,344,584; Commission for Polish Relief, Inc., New York, operating in Palestine, $308,744; Hadassah, Inc., New York, operating in Palestine, $875,150.
