The State Department is not yet ready to reply to the charges levelled yesterday by Bartley C. Crum, member of the former Anglo-American Inquiry Committee on Palestine, against “middle level” career officials, who he said were frustrating Presidential policy toward Palestine, a Department spokesman said today. No comment is available “up to this point,” it was said.
