The State Department indicated today that it was studying reports of anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union and expressed “concern” over the reports.
In a letter to the Jewish War Veterans of the United States, the State Department said that reports of anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union are being reviewed to “determine what action it might be desirable for the United States to take.”
