State Department sources said today there are definite indications that the United Arab Republic is about to receive heavy new shipments of military equipment probably including tactical rockets, limited range missiles, and other modern weapons.
It was reported reliably that some of the new equipment would come from the Soviet Union and some from Communist Czechoslovakia. In the past two years the UAR has received over $350,000,000 worth of arms from the Communist bloc.
