The 76th annual convention of the New York State Federation of Labor today adopted a resolution condemning all individuals publications and organizations which “are seeking to divide the labor movement by spreading anti-Semitism.”
As originally introduced the resolution named Father Charles E. Coughlin the magazine Social Justice and the Christian Front and denounced them as advance agents of Fascism. The resolution committee recommended that the resolution in that form be referred to the executive board. After discussion on the floor the resolution was amended to eliminate all names.
