A conference of the New York State Zionist Region at Wurtsboro yesterday adopted a resolution calling on American Zionists to draft Edmund I. Kaufmann, Washington, as president of the Zionist Organization of America and elect executive and administrative committees which would implement Dr. Solomon Goldman’s coordination and reorganization plans.
It was announced that a national Committee for Zionist Action has been formed “in an effort to revitalize, strengthen and unify the Zionist movement in America for the present emergency.” The committee is supporting Kaufmann’s candidacy, according to Hyman A.Schulson, New York attorney.
