In 1933 there were ninety-two fever deaths among Warsaw Jewry than there were in 1932, according to vital statistics just released concerning the Jewish population. The figures indicate that last year thirty-four more divorces were granted to Jewish couples than were granted during the preceding year.

The number of deaths for 1933 totaled 4,430, as against 4,522 for 1932, Divorces recorded by the rabbis of Warsaw and its suburbs were 152 in 1933 and 118 in 1932.

The Warsaw rabbinate helped thirteen converted Jews return to Judaism in 1933, and the Palestine office aided 11,916 Jews who leit for Palestine, the statistics show.
