Vladimir Jabotinsky, president of the World Union of the Zionist Revisionists, today issued a statement hailing the acquittal of Abraham Stavsky in Jerusalem, thanking the court for its judgment and urging Palestinian authorities to continue their hunt for the real murderer of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff.
“The court may be sincerely congratulated for having acquitted an innocent man, thus vindicating the fair name of British justice,” Mr. Jabotinsky said.
“We are glad to see in the verdict of the court a promise that whatever controversy may be pending or will further arise between Zionists and the mandatory power will be confined to issues of purely political and administrative character and will not involve apprehension as to the basic character of the social order and impartial justice.

“We now confidently expect that the higher courts will take a further step in the same direction and revise the sentences imposed on Aba Achimeier and others accused in the Brith Habiryonim trial.
“We also hope that all efforts will be made to discover the murderer of Dr. Arlosoroff and no track which is now at the disposal of the authorities will be neglected.
“We trust that now the Palestine administration, guided by the advice of the imperial government, will be enabled to quietly readjust criminal investigation practices in Palestine in order to bring it up to the British standard.
