The story of Chanukah will be told in a special Radio Liberty program which will be broadcast to all parts of the Soviet Union during the eight-day holiday period which begins tomorrow evening, it was announced here today.
Radio Liberty commentators will relate the story of the Jewish struggle for religious freedom in Russian, Ukrainian, Tatar, Byelorussian, Georgian and other languages used in the USSR. Traditional Hebrew music will be featured. Radio Liberty beams its programs to the USSR from powerful transmitters in Western Europe.
