Addressing a meeting of the Joint Palestine Appeal tonight, Lord Strabolgi, a Labor peer, charged the Palestine government with attempts to discourage Arab-Jewish co-operation, and declared that a movement was growing in Palestine in favor of the creation of a self-governing British dominion. This movement was secretly favored by many influential Arab leaders, Lord Strabolgi declared.

He added that if the British Government proposed this solution to the U.N. Assembly, it would meet with tremendous response in Palestine and would help solve most of the difficulties inherent in the Palestine problem, including the strategic needs of Great Britain and the United States in the Middle East.
