Abraham Strashun, 64, for twenty years an active worker in the Bund, the Russian Jewish Socialist organization, and since 1919 a member of the Communist party, died here today. Strashun was interested in social service work and in education. He was extremely active in organizations dealing with Jewish questions, including the Ozet, Komzet and Ort, which are primarily interested in placing Russian Jews on the land.
