The Nathan and Lina Straus Health Center in Jerusalem, Palestine’s first modern institution for preventive medicine and health education, will be dedicated on Tuesday April 30, Hadassah, Women’s Zionist Organization of America, announced. The date was changed from May 2.
An exhibit illustrating the work of Hadassah in Palestine will be part of the ceremony.
The seventh annual convention of Junior Hadassah, the younger branch of the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, will be held at the Hotel Stalter, Detroit, on July 2, 3 and 4, according to an announcement from the national headquarters of the organization in New York. Miss Flora Snyder, national president, will open the convention.
Three hundred delegates from 80 cities, representing 10,000 members, are expected. Among the guests will be Miss Alice Seligsberg, of New York, and Mrs. A. H. Vixman, of Pittsburgh, senior advisers of Junior Hadassah.
