” A steady stream of private capital from Britain is flowing into Palestine in the form of investments in various industrial, commercial and agricultural undertakings,” declared Capt. H.A. Leon at the annual meeting of the London-Palestine Investment Corporation, according to an announcement made here today, by the American Palestine Trading Corporation.
Capt. Leon, chairman of the Board of Directors, informed the stockholders that British Jews have invested considerable funds in Palestine since the outbreak of the war, and that funds were forthcoming not only from Zionists alone.
“In addition to financing specific industrial undertakings in Palestine,” declared Capt. Leon, “our corporation was also instrumental in land redemption on a considerable scale.” The corporation aims at the development of trade relations between Palestine and all parts of the British Empire.
