Dancing in the streets was the order of the day in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Haifa as Israelis of all ages celebrated Simchat Torab. Hundreds of dancing worshipers accompanied President Itzhak Ben Zvi to his home from the synagogue which he attends here. Tourists participated in festivities in the ultra-Orthodox Mea Shearim quarter of this city, and in numerous synagogues and small Chassidic places of worship elsewhere.
