Prof. Enrique R. Fabregat, Uruguayan representative to the United Nations, formally opened a street in Ramat Gan today named in his honor.
Mayor Krenitzki of Ramat Gan hailed Prof. Fabregat’s role in the establishment of the State of Israel and the Uruguayan diplomat expressed thanks for the honor and said he was happy to have been among the creators of the Jewish State. Prof. Fabregat served as a member of the United Nations commission which visited Palestine in 1947 and recommended establishment of a Jewish State.
