At yesterday’s session of the Warsaw City Council, with only the Bundists, Left Poale Zion, Father Krieger and the author, Madame Moscenska, voting in opposition, it was decided to name a street in the Jewish quarter for Rabbi Dov Ber Meisels, on the occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the death of this Polish patriot. Jaworowski, president of the City Council, in a speech eulogized the achievements of Rabbi Meisels in the struggle for Polish freedom.
In Cracow and Lemberg streets have long ago been named for Rabbi Meisels.
