The anti-Semitic activities of Julius Streicher, Nazi overlord of Franconia and editor of the Jew-baiting weekly, Der Stuermer, are still in full swing all over Franconia, the London Times reported today. Near the resort town of Feldafing, streamers inscribed “Jews are not welcome here,” were placed on all the roads leading to the town. For days the school children of the town parade# through the streets singing offensive anti-Jewish songs.
Protests by visitors were disregarded and a former German army officer who objected to the behavior of the children was arrested. His passport was taken from him by police and he was released only on condition that he report to the police every day.
