Twenty-two Jewish strikers were arrested in Acre in consequence of a strike at the Nur Match Factory there. When the owners called in Arab strike breakers, the Jewish strikers endeavored to prevent them from working.
In the quarred which ensued, British policemen beat the strikers and made 22 arrests.
