Hundreds of students at the University of Miami, as well as members of the faculty, attended a gathering celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Hebrew University in Israel that was arranged by the University of Miami.
The celebration was conducted under the chairmanship of Prof. Sidney Greenberg, head of the Hebrew department at the University. B.A. Barkai, a Jerusalem educator now on a visit to this country, addressed the audience on the achievements of the Hebrew University. An Israel student attending the University of Miami presented the University here with a painting by the Israel artist, M. Matusovsky.
