The anti-Jewish student riots in Rumania and the numerus clausus restrictions practiced against Jewish students in the universities of Poland, were condemned at a conference of the International Students Service which has just concluded its sessions here.
The conference also raised the question of the dissolution of the Jewish Student Federation in Latvia. The Polish government was severely criticized for its failure to permit the existence of the Federation of Jewish Students in Poland, despite the promises of the Minister of Education.

The conference adopted a resolution to request the International Labor Office to secure information with regard to the possibilities of the emigration of Jewish students from Germany and other countries to territories where they can adjust themselves to agricultural and industrial work.
The hospitality extended by the Italian universities to Jewish students from other countries was highly praised at the conference. The Polish delegates promised to influence their government to permit the legal existence of the Jewish Student Federation in Poland.
