Julius Abeles, chairman of the Kansas social service committee for B’nai B’rith, Second District, was honored by the senior high school here on the occasion of his seventy-fifth birthday.
Recently he erected an athletic stadium for the school. Mr. Abeles is the oldest living white person born in Leavenworth County and for many years has been engaged in charitable work.
