French left-wing Jewish students occupied the offices of the Argentinean airlines in downtown Paris to protest the recent celebration in Argentina of a mass commemorating the death of Adolf Hitler. The mass was organized by the Argentinean nationalist movement.

The 50 students of the Liaison Committee of the Zionist Socialist Students Organization (LCZSS) who occupied the airline offices for an hour issued a statement declaring that the LCZSS “is determined to fight anti-Semitism throughout the world and especially in Argentina where it is of a quest-official nature.” Police intervened and 10 of the demonstrators were taken to a police station for questioning, it was reported.
