The Student Struggle for Soviet Jewry, an organization protesting the cultural and religious repression of Jews in Russia, said today that it would hold a torchlight parade on March 30 to the Soviet Mission to the United Nations where it will set up “a Passover seder table.” The Passover ritual will be recited by Rabbi Steven Riskin of the Lincoln Square Synagogue, linking the freeing of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery to the plight of Soviet Jews, the group said. A demonstration is also planned for April 7 in front of the office of Aeroflot, the airline here, demanding a “freedom airlift” of Jews from Russia.
