The Palestine supreme court, composed of the chief justice and two Arab judges, today disallowed an appeal from the sentence against Subhi Al Khadra, former manager of the office of the Arab Executive, who was exiled to Safed for one year and ordered to deposit $2,000 as a guarantee of good behavior.
Khadra was sentenced by Keith Roach, district commissioner of Jerusalem, as a “suspected person” within the meaning of the Prevention of Crimes Ordinance. The appeal, made by Abdul Auni Hadi and M. Moghanem was disallowed on the ground that no appeal was possible from sentences under the Prevention of Crimes Ordinance.
