Suits to collect $4,815 unpaid pledges made in the 1926 campaign of the United Jewish Campaign were filed in Circuit Court by Sidney L. Alexander, attorney acting in behalf of the U. J. C. The $4,815 is sought in 22 separate suits, ranging from $100 to $825. It is believed that a number of prominent members of the community are included in the list.
