Sugarman Resigns Presidency of Palestine Economic Corporation

Joseph Sugarman, who assumed active duty as president of the Palestine Economic Corporation in September 1952, today announced his resignation as president of the corporation. In a statement released in connection with the resignation, he said:

“I have been unable to agree with the executive committee of the board of directors upon what should be the program and methods of operation of the Corporation for the fulfillment of what I consider to be the Corporation’s proper role in the upbuilding of the economy of Israel.”
