The training school for Jewish religious teachers which was held at Camp Osceola near here during the closing days of the summer under the auspices of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations has been pronounced an outstanding success by all who attended it. The school attracted religious school teachers sent by Sisterhoods in every state of the Southeastern District of the Union.
Classes were held in the open for three hours in the morning and a round table on practical problems was held in the evening. The remainder of the day was devoted to an athletic and entertainment program. Dr. Henry Englander and Dr. Emanuel Gamoran of Cincinnati comprised the teaching staff. Rabbi George Solomon served as business executive and Rabbi Milton Ellis as general director.
