Samuel Shaff, an officer of the Judea Publishing Company, publisher of the Brooklyn Jewish Examiner, has been given a summons in the complaint of Edgar Burman, commander of the Anti-Nazi Minute Men, against the Examiner, M. Richard Tamny, Burman’s counsel, disclosed yesterday.

In his complaint, Burman charges the Examiner used the name of the Minute Men to solicit subscriptions without authority.

The Examiner is given twenty days by law to file an answer to the charge with the New York County Supreme Court. The date for the trial then will be set.
