Sumer Wells, Under Secretary of State of the United States, will be the principal speaker at the opening public session of the Inter-American Jewish Conference on Sunday afternoon, November 23, it was announced today by Dr. Stephen S. Wise, President of the American Jewish Congress, under whose auspices the Conference is being arranged. The Conference in which delegates from 18 countries will participate will be held in Baltimore, at the Southern Hotel.
