Moshe Heimann, controller of Supersol, Ltd. is expected to appear in court as a state witness when Abraham Feinberg, the former general manager of that supermarket chain, is brought to trial on charges of arson, police authorities said here today. Earlier reports had said that Heimann was under arrest, but the authorities stated today he will not be charged with any crime.
According to the police, Feinberg, who has confessed to the arson charge, has been cooperating fully with the investigators. The investigation, police said, is expected to be concluded soon, after which Feinberg will be released under bail. Both Feinberg and Heimann are American born. Feinberg is an American citizen.
(In Cincinnati, meanwhile, Dr. Jacob R. Marcus, acting president of the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, said that Feinberg was not a graduate of the College as had been reported.)
