Supporters of jailed nuclear spy Mordechai Vanunu demonstrated for his release Thursday in Israel. The protest coincided with the 13th anniversary of the day Vanunu was kidnapped and brought back to Israel to stand trial. Vanunu has served 13 years of an 18-year sentence he was given for disclosing Israel’s nuclear weapons capabilities to The Times of London. He was recently allowed to leave solitary confinement.
