The newspaper, Czernowitzer Bletter has been prohibited from publication for three weeks, due to its articles giving details of the attack made last month by Cuzists, members of the Roumanian anti-Semitic party. The Bletter termed the attack a pogrom. The attack was made by 20 Cuzists who penetrated the Yiddish theatre, “Pavilion”, demolishing furniture and smashing windows. The wife of the theatre director, Sally Reisch. and a journalist, Herman Felker, were injured by the attackers.
