The Supreme Jewish Religious Court which deals with appeals from local rabbinical tribunals and rules on general questions concerned with Jewish religious life opened its cessions here today.
The court is composed of six judges, including the Sephardic and Ashkenazio Chief Rabbis. The other four are chosen in rotation from among the country’s outstanding religious scholars.
