Police reported today that about 15 small swastikas were found scrawled on the Town Hall in Perugia, apparently engraved with the point of a nail. Earlier in the week local members of the neo-Fascist Italian Social Movement threw a bomb against a Labor Union headquarters. One of the bomb throwers was identified and arrested.
The regional chapter of the Federated Council of the Resistance in Perugia called a meeting after the appearance of the swastikas and approved a resolution inviting “all anti-Fascists to be vigilant and to fight all provocations.”
